We accept returns on most clothing and fashion items, provided the return request is initiated within 7 days of delivery. For a return to be eligible, the product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with all original packaging, tags, and labels intact. Any item that shows signs of wear, damage, alteration, or that is returned without its original packaging will not qualify for a return or refund. The invoice or order confirmation email must also be included in the return package for validation purposes.
There are some items that are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances. These include innerwear, lingerie, swimwear, socks, cosmetics, personalized or customized products, gift cards, and items sold during final sale or clearance promotions. We also do not accept returns on items that were marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase.
If you’d like to return an eligible item, you can begin the process by logging into your account on our website. From the “My Orders” section, select the order and click on “Return Item.” You’ll be prompted to choose a reason for return and, in certain cases such as damaged or defective items, upload supporting photos. Once we receive your request and approve it, we will arrange a reverse pickup from your address within 2–4 business days. If your location is not serviceable by our courier partners, you may be asked to self-ship the item to our warehouse. In that case, you’ll be reimbursed for your shipping cost (up to ₹100) upon submission of a valid courier receipt.
Once the product reaches our warehouse, it goes through a quality inspection which takes 1–2 business days. If the product passes our quality check, we initiate your refund or exchange based on the option you selected during the return process. For prepaid orders, the refund is credited to the original payment method (such as UPI, credit/debit card, or wallet) within 5–7 business days. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds are issued via bank transfer or store credit, depending on your preference. Store credits are sent via email in the form of a unique code that can be applied at checkout and are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance.
In case you wish to exchange a product for a different size, the exchange option is available on eligible products and subject to stock availability. Once your returned item is inspected and approved, we’ll dispatch the replacement size within 3–5 business days. If your requested size is not in stock, we’ll process a refund or issue store credit based on your selected preference. Please note that we currently offer exchanges only for size-related issues—not for color or product changes.
If you’ve received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we sincerely apologize. In such cases, we request that you notify us within 48 hours of receiving the order by emailing us at support@thestyleshouse.com along with your order ID and clear images of the product and packaging. After verification, we will arrange a free pickup and dispatch a replacement item at no extra cost. If the item is out of stock, a full refund will be processed instead. However, if it’s found that the damage occurred after delivery, the return request may be denied.
Orders can be canceled without penalty if the cancellation request is made before the order is shipped. To cancel an order, please email us or contact us via WhatsApp or phone as soon as possible. Once the order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled, but you can still initiate a return after receiving the product.
If a package is undeliverable due to incorrect shipping information, failed delivery attempts, or refusal to accept the parcel, the order will be marked as Returned to Origin (RTO). We will reach out to confirm whether you’d like the package re-shipped. If we receive no response within 5 business days, the order will be canceled and refunded (excluding any shipping costs incurred).
We offer one free return per order for standard size or fit issues. However, if multiple returns are made from the same order or customer account frequently, we reserve the right to charge a shipping fee or restrict further returns. Also, the original shipping fee paid at checkout (if any) is non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
At this time, international orders are not eligible for return or exchange, unless the product delivered is damaged or incorrect. Customs duties, import taxes, and international shipping costs are non-refundable.
Please note that all returned items must pass our internal quality check to be eligible for a refund or exchange. If an item fails inspection—due to damage, evidence of wear, or missing tags—it will be sent back to the customer and the return request will be declined. The Style House reserves the right to deny refunds or exchanges in cases of policy misuse, frequent returns, or suspected abuse of promotional discounts.
